Direct sunlight can cause the leaves to scorch, so it's best to place it near an east or west-facing window, or provide filtered light through sheer curtains. If the plant receives insufficient light, it may become leggy and lose its distinct foliage.

Temperature: These plants thrive in warm and humid environments, with temperatures ranging between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid placing the plant near drafts, air conditioners, or heating vents, as fluctuations in temperature can cause stress.

Humidity: Alocasia chantrieri needs high humidity, ideally above 60%. To increase humidity around your plant, use a humidifier, place a tray with water and pebbles beneath the plant, or group it with other humidity-loving plants. Misting the leaves can also help, but be cautious, as excessive moisture may lead to fungal issues.

Watering: Water the plant regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top 1-2 inches (2.5-5 cm) of soil to dry out before watering again. Use filtered or distilled water, as this plant is sensitive to chemicals found in tap water.
