Euonymus Silver Queen is a semi-evergreen shrub characterised by dark green leaves with white margins that fade to pink as the plant ages. As it’s semi-evergreen, Euonymus Silver Queen can lose some of its leaves in winter and, in more exposed areas or cold regions, it may drop all of its leaves but new ones will appear in spring. During the summer, this shrub will produce tiny green flowers which are preceded by round white fruit. It’s hardiness means it can be planted in tricky places and, once it’s established, will tolerate shade, salt-laden air and drought conditions, making it versatile and suitable for a range of gardens. Euonymus Silver Queen is slow to grow initially but, once established, will provide light colours to your garden and, unlike other variegated plants, will not lose its variegation when planted in the shade.

Right Packaging

As an online plant store, we recognise the need to protect the environment and have thought very carefully about the packaging we use and where we buy it from to make sure your plants turn up in good condition with the least impact on the environment.

When it comes to packaging, our philosophy takes the following into account:

Sustainability - all of the packaging we used can be fully reused, recycled or composted. And, in the unfortunate event that it does make its way to landfill, it will biodegrade, leaving nothing but humus behind.

The right packaging for the job - we want our plants to arrive in perfect condition so we have designed packaging that holds your plants safely and securely inside the box, meaning they turn up in great condition.

What's our packaging made from?

Our outer packaging is made from corrugated cardboard. This cardboard can withstand the weight of your plants and is not susceptible to moisture so will remain strong and stable until your plants are delivered and you’re ready to unpack them. Not only that, it will keep your plants safe and undamaged in transit.

As well as being perfect for keeping your plants safe, corrugated cardboard is easy to recycle and is in keeping with our commitment to ensure we use the more environmentally friendly packaging as possible.

Packaging sustainability

We have chosen to partner with a packaging supplier that has the same environmental values as us. All packaging uses 85% recycled material and is 100% recyclable and compostable. This commitment to the environment is backed up by a Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation and ISO 14001 accreditation for their environmental management system.
