About this cutting

  • This listing is for a lightly variegated Monstera cutting
  • These are fresh monstera cuttings straight from the mother plant. These will be cut 1 day before sending, with the stem wrapped in tissue and sealed inside a plastic bag. At this time of year we will not include water on the tissue due to the weather.
  • These are cuttings and as such are in the care of the customer to propagate and grow into a plant . There is always a risk a cutting may not make it and these are sold with the customer taking on that liability. Our advice would be to allow the cutting ends to air dry for 24 hours once received and then propagate in either pure water or moss.

About Monstera Deliciosa

The broad deep green leaves of this upright houseplant are broken up by irregular oval holes that give it the name, ‘Swiss Cheese Plant’. The broad strapped leaves reach out in an impressive display of colour and height that bring a refined and relaxing air to any room. This is a low-maintenance house plant that will really boost your home décor, and the included moss pole will help it grow taller than other varieties. This Monstera is happiest in bright light, but its leaves will burn with direct exposure so is suitable for any room as long as it is not in a windowsill. Water once a week to keep the soil moist and mist the leaves lightly every three days to keep them keep their deep colours.

Notes

  • Our plants are provided in a plastic nursery pot. Any decorative pots or props are not included.
  • This plant is not for consumption

Right Packaging

As an online plant store, we recognise the need to protect the environment and have thought very carefully about the packaging we use and where we buy it from to make sure your plants turn up in good condition with the least impact on the environment.

When it comes to packaging, our philosophy takes the following into account:

Sustainability - all of the packaging we used can be fully reused, recycled or composted. And, in the unfortunate event that it does make its way to landfill, it will biodegrade, leaving nothing but humus behind.

The right packaging for the job - we want our plants to arrive in perfect condition so we have designed packaging that holds your plants safely and securely inside the box, meaning they turn up in great condition.

What's our packaging made from?

Our outer packaging is made from corrugated cardboard. This cardboard can withstand the weight of your plants and is not susceptible to moisture so will remain strong and stable until your plants are delivered and you’re ready to unpack them. Not only that, it will keep your plants safe and undamaged in transit.

As well as being perfect for keeping your plants safe, corrugated cardboard is easy to recycle and is in keeping with our commitment to ensure we use the more environmentally friendly packaging as possible.

Packaging sustainability

We have chosen to partner with a packaging supplier that has the same environmental values as us. All packaging uses 85% recycled material and is 100% recyclable and compostable. This commitment to the environment is backed up by a Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation and ISO 14001 accreditation for their environmental management system.
