Ajuga, also known as Bugleweed, will quickly fill any empty area with its upright spikes of dainty, purple-blue flowers that look wonderful lining sunny borders or providing low ground cover. Due to this plant's fast-growing nature, Ajuga can easily get out of control if not properly tended to, so is best planted in garden beds with edging to keep it from outgrowing its boundaries.
