The Syngonium, or ‘arrowhead vine’ is compact and hardy indoor plant native to Southern Mexico. They are also sometimes called ‘Goosefoot’ because of the shape of their leaves, but they come in a wide range of colours and patterns but are all defined by their ivy like leaves that like to spread out in all directions, giving you a plant with an elegant, yet bushy profile.

These plants are tolerant of lower light which makes them a great office plant, however in the home you would be better off putting them in a slightly brighter area as they will grow faster and develop more vibrant leaves . Do keep them away from direct sunlight as it may burn the leaves. Allow the soil to dry out a bit between waterings and water lightly until the soil is just damp to the touch. If the leaves begin to dry, then the plant is being underwatered.

You should only fertilize once a month in the growing season with a half strength liquid fertilizer
