At Plants for all Seasons, we stand behind the quality and vitality of every plant we deliver, which is why we proudly offer a Live Delivery Guarantee. This commitment means that we guarantee your plants will arrive at your doorstep in healthy, thriving condition. We understand the importance of receiving your plants in the best possible state, ready to enhance your space from the moment they arrive. With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Our partners are carefully selected based on their commitment to timely deliveries and their proven track record in transporting delicate items with the utmost care.

Alocasia ‘Simpo’ is a compact and elegant variety of elephant ear, prized for its striking upright foliage, bold, arrowhead-shaped leaves, and manageable size, making it perfect for homes, offices, and small-space styling. Unlike its larger Alocasia cousins, Simpo remains relatively petite, producing upright, slightly ruffled green leaves with prominent veins on strong stems. It brings tropical structure without overwhelming a room — ideal for styling on sideboards, windowsills, low tables, or as a focal point in grouped plant displays. Like most Alocasias, Simpo thrives in warmth and humidity, rewarding consistent care with lush, sculptural growth.
Indoors: Prefers bright, indirect light to keep leaves vibrant and upright.
Too much sun: Direct sunlight may scorch the leaves.
Low light: Tolerated for short periods but may cause leggier, slower growth.
Ideal temperature: 18–26°C (65–79°F)
Minimum temperature: Keep above 15°C (59°F); protect from draughts and cold windowsills.
Humidity: Loves moderate to high humidity. Mist regularly or place near a humidifier for best results.
Watering frequency: Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry. Keep soil moist but never soggy.
Winter: Reduce watering slightly when growth slows.
Tip: Alocasias are sensitive to overwatering — ensure pot drains well and never leave standing in water.
Soil type: Well-draining mix — houseplant compost with added perlite or orchid bark is ideal.
Pot type: Ensure a pot with good drainage holes. Terracotta or ceramic pots help regulate moisture levels.
Repotting: Every 1–2 years in spring or when rootbound.
Growing season (spring–summer): Feed every 4 weeks with a diluted balanced liquid fertiliser.
Autumn–winter: Feed every 6–8 weeks or pause if the plant becomes dormant.
Pruning: Remove any yellow or damaged leaves at the base to keep the plant tidy.
Leaf care: Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to remove dust and support healthy growth.
Dormancy: May drop leaves and go dormant in winter — reduce watering and resume care in spring when new growth emerges.
Division: Propagate by dividing tubers or offsets when repotting.
Not propagated by cuttings.
Common pests: Spider mites, aphids, thrips, and mealybugs — especially in dry conditions.
Symptoms: Browning edges, webbing, sticky residue, or distorted leaves.
Treatment: Treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap and improve humidity.
Common issues:
Drooping leaves: Often from underwatering or sudden changes in temperature.
Yellowing: Usually caused by overwatering or poor drainage.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested by pets or humans. Contains calcium oxalates.
Precaution: Keep away from pets and children, and wear gloves when repotting or pruning.

Grouped plant displays with contrasting leaf shapes or tones
Bright bathrooms or kitchens where humidity naturally supports growth
Pairs beautifully with textured pots, terracotta, or natural wood tones
Great for modern, tropical, or biophilic interior schemes
