25 - 30cm Peace Lily Spathiphyllum 9cm Pot House Plant
Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) is a popular houseplant known for its ease of care and ability to thrive in low light conditions. Here are some tips for caring for a Peace Lily:
-
Light: Peace Lilies prefer bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. However, they may not flower as much in low light.
-
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, but not soaking wet. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch.
-
Humidity: Peace Lilies prefer high humidity, but they can still thrive in average household humidity levels. You can increase humidity by placing the plant on a pebble tray or using a humidifier.
-
Fertilizer: Feed your Peace Lily with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
-
Temperature: Peace Lilies prefer temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Keep them away from cold drafts.
-
Repotting: Repot your Peace Lily every 1-2 years using a well-draining potting mix.
-
Pruning: Remove any yellow or brown leaves as soon as possible to prevent them from spreading disease to the rest of the plant.
-
Toxicity: Peace Lilies are toxic to pets and humans if ingested, so keep them out of reach of children and pets.
