Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Hoya phuwuaensis is a vining epiphyte native to the Phu Wua Mountains in Thailand, from which it takes its name. It belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is cherished for both its ornamental leaves and its gorgeous clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers.
Leaves: The foliage is medium green, often with silver flecks or splash patterns, and a slightly leathery, semi-succulent texture. Leaves are typically elliptical to ovate, with subtle veining and a matte to lightly glossy finish.
Growth Habit: A vining, trailing plant that can be trained on a trellis or allowed to hang. Growth is moderate under ideal conditions.
Flowers: Produces beautiful umbels of creamy-white to pale pink star-shaped flowers with darker pink or red centres. The blooms are slightly fuzzy and very fragrant, especially in the evening. Like many Hoyas, flowers emerge from peduncles (flower spurs) that should not be removed after blooming, as they rebloom from the same spot.
Size: With support, the plant can grow over 1 metre in length, but it stays manageable indoors.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. It can handle some gentle morning sun but should be protected from harsh midday rays.
Under lower light conditions, it may grow more slowly and flower less frequently.
Grows well under full-spectrum grow lights.
Like many Hoyas, it prefers to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when the top 2–4 cm of soil feels dry.
Reduce watering frequency in cooler months.
Always use a pot with excellent drainage.
Temperature: Prefers warm, stable temperatures between 18–28°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 12°C.
Humidity: While tolerant of average indoor humidity, it thrives with 50–70% humidity. Increase humidity to encourage flowering and faster growth.
Needs an airy, well-draining mix. Ideal blends include:
Orchid bark
Perlite or pumice
Coconut husk or coir
A small amount of cactus or houseplant soil
Avoid dense, water-retentive media.
Feed monthly during the growing season (spring to early autumn) with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength.
A bloom booster with higher phosphorus content can be used occasionally to encourage flowering.
Doesn’t require frequent repotting—every 2–3 years or when rootbound.
Hoyas like slightly snug pots and may flower better when rootbound.
Prune to shape or encourage bushier growth by pinching off vine tips.
Avoid removing peduncles (flower stems), as new blooms form on old ones.
Can be trained onto hoops, moss poles, or allowed to trail.
Pests: Susceptible to mealybugs, spider mites, and scale, especially in dry environments.
Overwatering: Can lead to root rot. Ensure proper drainage and let the soil dry out between waterings.
Lack of flowering: Usually due to low light, insufficient humidity, or removing peduncles.
Maintain bright, indirect light, warm temps, and high humidity.
Do not move the plant excessively once buds appear.
Keep it slightly root-bound and avoid pruning flower spurs.
A great candidate for hanging baskets or trellised pots.
Wipe leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to keep them dust-free.
Patience is key with flowering—it may take a couple of years before it blooms consistently indoors.
