Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Sansevieria ‘Moonshine’ is a stunning cultivar known for its sleek, upright, silvery-green leaves with a faint, misty sheen. Unlike the darker green of traditional snake plants, ‘Moonshine’ offers a light, almost ethereal look, making it a popular choice for modern, minimalist, and Scandinavian-inspired spaces.
This variety forms an upright rosette of broad, sword-shaped leaves with soft dark green margins and subtle vertical striations. Tough and adaptable like its relatives, Sansevieria ‘Moonshine’ is low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and highly effective at purifying indoor air.
🌿 Botanical name: Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Moonshine’ (also Dracaena trifasciata ‘Moonshine’)
🪴 Common name: Moonshine Snake Plant, Silver Snake Plant
🌤 Light: Bright, indirect light preferred; tolerates low light
💧 Watering: Water only when soil is completely dry
🌡 Temperature: 16–30°C; not frost-hardy
🧴 Humidity: Tolerates normal household levels
🐾 Toxicity: ❌ Toxic to pets and humans if ingested
Moonshine thrives in bright, indirect light, which helps preserve its pale, silvery colour. It will tolerate low light, but the leaf colour may deepen to a more standard green over time. Avoid prolonged harsh sun, which can bleach or scorch the foliage.
💡 Place it near a north- or east-facing window for the best balance of light and colour.
Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, allowing excess to drain away. In warm seasons, watering every 2–3 weeks is typical; in winter, it may need water as infrequently as once a month.
🚫 Avoid overwatering at all costs – this is the most common cause of root rot.
Sansevieria ‘Moonshine’ is not fussy about humidity. It thrives in average household humidity and requires no misting, making it suitable for any room, including bedrooms and offices.
Ideal temperatures are 16–30°C. Protect from cold air and do not expose to temperatures below 10°C. Sudden temperature changes may stress the plant.
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix, or houseplant compost mixed with perlite or sand. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent standing water at the roots.
Feed lightly with a cactus or general-purpose houseplant fertiliser once every 6–8 weeks during spring and summer. Avoid feeding in winter when growth slows.
Division: The most reliable method
Leaf cuttings: Possible, but new growth may lose the distinctive silvery colouring and revert to green
Yellow, mushy leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage
Dull green foliage: Low light or ageing growth
Brown tips or edges: Dry air, cold drafts, or irregular watering
Wrinkled leaves: Underwatering
Perfect for clean, modern spaces with a neutral or monochrome palette
Striking in white or grey ceramic planters
Ideal for offices, shelves, and bedside tables due to its compact upright growth
