The All The Maranta Collection brings together the many beautiful faces of the Maranta genus, commonly known as Prayer Plants. Famed for their day-and-night leaf movement (folding upward in the evening), these plants are a joy to watch and admire. Their highly decorative foliage ranges from deep greens with electric lime accents to soft silvers and creamy variegations. This collection celebrates the diversity within Maranta leuconeura and its cultivars — all relatively compact, pet-friendly, and perfect for bright shelves or humidity-loving spots like kitchens and bathrooms.

🌿 1. Maranta leuconeura ‘Fascinator’ (Red Prayer Plant)

Striking, deep green leaves with red midribs and bright lime-green patterns, forming a fishbone design. Classic and dramatic.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light (tolerates lower light)

  • Water: Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy

  • Humidity: High humidity essential — mist often

  • Soil: Peaty, well-draining mix

  • Feeding: Monthly during growing season

  • Notes: Avoid tap water if possible — prefers filtered or rainwater

🌿 2. Maranta leuconeura (Green Prayer Plant)

A more subtle version with velvety mid-green leaves and darker patches, paired with pale green veining. Calmer in tone but just as mesmerising.

  • Light: Medium to bright, indirect light

  • Water: Keep moist, but allow top cm to dry slightly

  • Humidity: High humidity preferred

  • Soil: Rich, airy mix with peat and perlite

  • Feeding: Every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer

  • Notes: Good starter variety for beginners

🌿 3. Maranta ‘Silver Band’

Elegant and refined, this cultivar features a silvery central stripe flanked by soft green and darker outlines, creating a subtle, luminous look.

  • Light: Bright, indirect (no direct sun)

  • Water: Keep lightly moist; never let dry completely

  • Humidity: High

  • Soil: Lightweight, moisture-retentive mix

  • Feeding: Monthly with gentle feed

  • Notes: Sensitive to low humidity — leaf edges may crisp if too dry

🌿 4. Maranta ‘Lemon Lime’

A vivid variety with lime green veining and bright chartreuse patterns over pale green foliage. Youthful and full of energy.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light

  • Water: Maintain consistent moisture

  • Humidity: High; mist frequently or use pebble trays

  • Soil: Peat-based mix with good drainage

  • Feeding: Every 4–6 weeks during active growth

  • Notes: Slightly faster growing than others in the genus

🌿 5. Maranta ‘Variegated’

This rare cultivar has cream or white variegation mixed with green patches and red veins. A collector’s favourite due to its striking colour contrast.

  • Light: Bright, filtered light (to keep variegation)

  • Water: Keep consistently moist

  • Humidity: Very high humidity required

  • Soil: Rich, well-aerated mix

  • Feeding: Fortnightly with diluted liquid fertiliser

  • Notes: Can be fussy — stable conditions are key

🌿 6. Maranta ‘Light Veins’

A less common cultivar with pale or silvery-white veining on olive or sage green leaves. Delicate and softly patterned.

  • Light: Medium to bright, indirect light

  • Water: Water when the top cm of soil is barely dry

  • Humidity: Moderate to high

  • Soil: Moisture-retentive but free-draining

  • Feeding: Monthly with balanced houseplant feed

  • Notes: Subtle but beautiful in mixed displays
