The small petals of this new guinea come in pink, the perfect option to brighten up any space. The new guinea thrives in shaded areas so choose a space with shade for most of the day for this plant. The soil should be well-draining and ensure that space is shaded from cold winds.

The new guinea likes quite a lot of water so make sure you water thoroughly and deeply once a week, but don't let the soil become boggy. In the hottest months, you may need to water daily. A soaker hose is a good way to keep your new guinea plants watered.

During the summer feed monthly with low-nitrogen plant food. This will encourage the plant to grow whilst producing abundant flowers.

Your new guinea only needs to be pruned once or twice during the summer.
