Artemisia Powis Castle 2L Perennial Plant
Also known as 'wormwood', this upright, deciduous perennial forms a large bush of divided aromatic foliage. Sometimes used as a kitchen herb, this plant can be used as a mid-border species or as a way to line paths and gates. This plant may produce small flowers in the summer of all conditions are perfect.
Where to grow Artemisia
Plant in a sunny position with well-draining chalk, loam or sand soil. Keep the space free from strong, cold drafts.
How to grow Artemisia
Water enough to keep the soil moist but not wet, changing frequency as the weather changes. Fertilise with a diluted liquid feed once a fortnight in the summer and spring. In autumn, much around the base and trim away any dead foliage to allow new growth in spring.
