BAPTISIA Lemon Meringue Perennial Plant
A herbaceous perennial, also known as 'Blue Indigo', is a clump-forming plant ideal for your beds and borders. The vibrant leaves grow in fanned-out groups of three, and the flowering spikes emerge from the bush's centre. Each spike produces small cupped yellow petals to form a display suitable for a wild or coastal garden.
Where to grow Baptisia
Plant in a sunny position with well-draining soil. Keep the space free from strong, cold drafts.
How to grow Baptisia
Water enough to keep the soil moist but not wet, changing frequency as the weather changes. Fertilise with a diluted liquid feed once a fortnight in the summer and spring. In autumn, much around the base and trim away any dead foliage to allow new growth in spring.
