Hoya Linearis, also known as Wax Plant, is a tropical plant that is native to India and Southeast Asia. It is a trailing or climbing plant with long, narrow leaves and small, star-shaped white or pink flowers. Here are some care tips for Hoya Linearis:

  1. Light: Hoya Linearis prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate some shade. Avoid placing the plant in direct sunlight as it can damage the leaves.

  2. Water: Water the plant thoroughly when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch. Do not let the plant sit in water as it can cause root rot.

  3. Humidity: Hoya Linearis prefers higher humidity levels, but can still thrive in average room humidity. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves or placing a tray of water near the plant.

  4. Temperature: The ideal temperature range for Hoya Linearis is between 60-80°F (16-27°C). Avoid exposing the plant to extreme temperatures or cold drafts.

  5. Soil: Hoya Linearis prefers a well-draining soil mix that is rich in organic matter.

  6. Fertilizer: Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).

  7. Pruning: You can pinch back the tips of the plant to encourage branching and fuller growth.

  8. Propagation: Hoya Linearis can be propagated through stem cuttings. Simply cut a healthy stem with a few leaves and root it in water or soil.
