50 - 65cm Clusia Princess Autograph Tree 17cm Plant House Plant
Clusia Princess, also known as Autograph Tree, is a tropical evergreen plant native to the Caribbean, Central, and South America. Here are some care tips for Clusia Princess:
-
Light: Clusia Princess prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn its leaves.
-
Water: Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Clusia Princess prefers consistently moist soil, but be careful not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot.
-
Humidity: Clusia Princess thrives in high humidity environments, so consider using a humidifier or placing a tray of water near the plant.
-
Temperature: Clusia Princess prefers temperatures between 65-80°F (18-26°C). Avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
-
Soil: Use well-draining soil, such as a mixture of peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite.
-
Fertilizer: Fertilize Clusia Princess once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
-
Pruning: Prune the plant to maintain its shape, but avoid pruning more than 1/3 of the plant at once.
-
Propagation: Clusia Princess can be propagated from stem cuttings. Dip the cuttings in rooting hormone and plant in well-draining soil. Keep the soil moist and place the cutting in bright, indirect light.
