Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. Syngoniums are a popular genus of houseplants that are relatively easy to care for. Here are some general care instructions for Syngoniums:
Light: Syngoniums prefer bright, indirect light, but they can tolerate lower light conditions. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can scorch the leaves.
Water: Syngoniums prefer consistently moist soil, but they can tolerate some drying out between waterings. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Be sure to water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain away from the pot.
Humidity: Syngoniums appreciate higher humidity levels. You can increase humidity by placing the plant on a tray of pebbles filled with water or by using a humidifier.
Temperature: Syngoniums prefer temperatures between 60-80°F (16-27°C). Avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
Fertilizer: Syngoniums benefit from regular fertilization during the growing season (spring and summer). Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer at half the recommended strength every 2-3 weeks.
Propagation: Syngoniums can be propagated by stem cuttings, which should be taken from the parent plant in spring or summer. Place the cutting in a pot filled with moist potting soil and keep it in a warm, bright place until it roots.
Potting: Syngoniums prefer a well-draining potting mix. They should be repotted every 1-2 years, or when the roots have outgrown the pot.
Pests and problems: Syngoniums can be susceptible to mealybugs, spider mites, and scale insects. Overwatering or low humidity can also cause problems, such as root rot or yellowing leaves.
Overall, Syngoniums are relatively low-maintenance plants that can add a touch of tropical beauty to your indoor space.
