Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Features:
Ficus sagittata, also known as the Arrowhead Fig or Creeping Fig (variegated form), is a trailing or creeping species of fig native to Southeast Asia. It features small, arrow-shaped leaves (hence the name sagittata, from Latin for "arrow") and is often grown as a decorative trailing houseplant, terrarium plant, or ground cover in tropical climates. The foliage is usually a rich green with possible variegation, and the plant forms a dense mat of fine stems and dainty leaves.
Unlike larger upright Ficus trees, Ficus sagittata is more delicate and has a soft, spreading or cascading growth habit, making it perfect for hanging baskets, high shelves, or as underplanting in mixed containers. It's also a great choice for adding greenery to vertical garden systems or as a natural curtain over edges and ledges.
Prefers bright, indirect light for optimal growth and leaf colour.
Can tolerate partial shade but will grow more slowly and may lose variegation if too dim.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves.
Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, especially during active growth periods.
Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
Avoid overwatering or letting the plant sit in soggy soil, which may cause root rot.
Thrives in temperatures between 18–26°C.
Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 13°C, as it is not frost-tolerant.
Prefers moderate to high humidity, but will tolerate average household levels.
Boost humidity with occasional misting or by placing near other plants or on a humidity tray.
Dry air may cause the leaf tips to brown slightly.
Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a general-purpose houseplant compost with added perlite or orchid bark for drainage.
Avoid heavy, compacted soils.
Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser once a month during spring and summer.
Reduce or stop feeding in autumn and winter when growth slows.
Repot every 1–2 years, ideally in spring, or when roots begin to outgrow the container.
Choose a pot with good drainage and only slightly larger than the previous one to avoid excess water retention.
Prune back leggy or overgrown stems to encourage bushier growth.
Pinch tips or trim stems to control its spread and shape.
Regular cleaning of the leaves will help maintain their appearance and support healthy growth.
Watch for spider mites, scale insects, and mealybugs, especially in dry indoor conditions.
Leaf drop may occur if the plant is stressed by sudden changes in light, temperature, or watering habits.
Mildly toxic to pets and humans if ingested. May cause gastrointestinal discomfort – keep out of reach of pets and small children.
Ideal for hanging baskets, terrariums, or trailing over shelves
Soft, lush foliage with a fine-textured appearance
Low maintenance with rewarding growth in the right conditions
