Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Dracaena reflexa 'Anita', commonly known as the Anita Dragon Tree, is a graceful and easy-care houseplant admired for its slender, arching foliage and elegant tree-like form. Native to Madagascar and the islands of the Indian Ocean, this attractive Dracaena variety brings a soft, tropical feel to homes and workplaces while requiring very little maintenance.
Unlike the more rigid foliage of other Dracaena varieties, Dracaena 'Anita' produces long, narrow, deep green leaves that gently arch from upright woody stems, creating a light and airy appearance. Its elegant growth habit makes it an excellent choice for adding height and texture to living rooms, offices, conservatories and reception areas.
Highly adaptable and tolerant of a range of indoor conditions, Dracaena 'Anita' is an excellent option for beginners as well as experienced plant enthusiasts. Indoors, it typically reaches 1.5–2.5 metres in height, depending on the size of the pot and growing conditions, while maintaining a relatively narrow footprint.
Dracaena 'Anita' grows best in bright, indirect light but is highly adaptable and will also tolerate moderate light conditions.
Position it near an east or west-facing window, or a few metres back from a bright south-facing window. Although it can cope with lower light, growth may slow and the foliage may become less dense.
Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Allow the top 3–5cm of compost to dry out before watering thoroughly.
Water until excess moisture drains from the bottom of the pot, then empty any decorative pot or saucer to prevent the roots from sitting in water.
Dracaena 'Anita' is more tolerant of underwatering than overwatering, making it important not to keep the compost constantly wet.
Reduce watering during autumn and winter when growth naturally slows.
Average household humidity is perfectly suitable for Dracaena 'Anita'.
While it appreciates slightly higher humidity, it performs well in most indoor environments and does not require frequent misting.
Maintain temperatures between 18°C and 27°C.
Avoid temperatures below 12°C and protect the plant from cold draughts, radiators and sudden changes in temperature.
Use a free-draining houseplant compost enriched with perlite or horticultural grit to improve drainage.
Always grow the plant in a pot with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
Feed every 4 weeks during spring and summer using a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser.
Reduce feeding during autumn and stop feeding during winter while growth slows.
Repot every 2–3 years, or when roots become crowded in the pot.
Move into a container only one size larger and repot during spring where possible.
Dracaena 'Anita' has a slow to moderate growth rate.
Expected indoor size:
Height: 1.5–2.5m
Spread: 60–100cm
Its upright growth habit makes it ideal for smaller spaces where floor area is limited.
Very little pruning is required.
Remove yellow or damaged leaves as needed, and trim stems if you wish to control the plant's height or encourage branching.
Dracaena reflexa 'Anita' is toxic if ingested and should be kept away from pets and young children.
It is particularly toxic to cats and dogs.
Brown tips are usually caused by:
Low humidity
Fluoride or chemicals in tap water
Underwatering
Salt build-up from fertiliser
Using filtered or rainwater where possible and avoiding overfeeding can help prevent this.
Yellow leaves are often caused by overwatering.
Allow the compost to dry slightly between waterings and ensure the pot drains freely.
Older lower leaves naturally yellow and fall as the plant matures.
Soft or mushy stems usually indicate root rot caused by excessive watering.
Reduce watering immediately and inspect the roots if necessary.
Slow growth is normal during winter but may also result from insufficient light or lack of feeding during the growing season.
Move the plant to a brighter location if needed.
Occasionally affected by:
Spider mites
Mealybugs
Scale insects
Inspect the foliage regularly and treat infestations promptly using an appropriate houseplant insecticide or insecticidal soap.
Yes. Dracaena 'Anita' is one of the easiest indoor plants to grow and is well suited to beginners thanks to its tolerance of average household conditions.
Water when the top few centimetres of compost have dried. It is better to underwater slightly than overwater.
Yes. It tolerates moderate light well, although brighter, indirect light encourages stronger growth and fuller foliage.
Brown tips are commonly caused by dry air, underwatering or fluoride in tap water. Using filtered water and maintaining consistent watering usually helps.
With good care, it typically reaches 1.5–2.5 metres, making it an excellent upright feature plant for homes and offices.
With its elegant arching foliage, slim upright growth and exceptional ease of care, Dracaena reflexa 'Anita' is the perfect indoor tree for adding height and lush greenery without demanding constant attention. Its graceful appearance and adaptability make it a stylish choice for both modern homes and professional spaces.
