Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Monstera Adansonii ‘European Mint’ is a rare and highly collectible variegated form of Monstera adansonii, admired for its consistently soft mint-toned foliage and elegant marbling. Unlike heavily variegated Monsteras with bold white sectors, European Mint is valued for its subtle, refined appearance.
The variegation is always light and blended rather than dramatic. Leaves typically display soft mint green marbling, pale green washes and delicate tonal variation across the foliage. The contrast is gentle and understated, creating a more natural and sophisticated look compared to stronger white variegation.
This variety is especially popular amongst collectors who prefer nuanced variegation over bold patterns. The mint colouring often appears evenly diffused throughout the leaf rather than forming large blocks or stark patches. In bright light, the foliage can develop an almost frosted or silvery appearance.
Like other Monstera adansonii varieties, the leaves develop natural fenestrations as they mature, giving the plant its distinctive tropical character. When allowed to climb, foliage size and fenestration typically increase over time.
Every leaf develops uniquely, but the overall appearance remains consistently soft, lightly marbled and mint-toned rather than highly contrasted.
Provide bright, indirect light to support healthy growth and maintain the delicate mint variegation. Because the variegation is subtle and lightly coloured, good lighting helps enhance the soft tonal differences across the leaves.
Avoid strong direct sunlight, particularly afternoon sun, as the lighter mint areas can scorch more easily.
Ideal locations include:
Lower light conditions may lead to:
Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry slightly between waterings. European Mint enjoys lightly moist but well-draining soil.
Avoid keeping the compost overly wet, as this can lead to root rot and yellowing foliage.
Signs it may need watering:
Always use pots with drainage holes.
This tropical plant prefers moderate to high humidity.
Ideal humidity:
Low humidity may cause:
A humidifier or grouping with other tropical plants can help maintain suitable conditions.
Best grown in warm indoor temperatures between:
Avoid:
Use a chunky, airy aroid mix that retains some moisture while allowing excellent drainage.
An ideal mix may contain:
Avoid dense soil that remains wet for extended periods.
Monstera Adansonii ‘European Mint’ is naturally a climbing plant. Providing a moss pole or climbing support encourages:
It can also be grown trailing from shelves or hanging planters.
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer using a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser.
Reduce feeding during autumn and winter when growth slows naturally.
The defining feature of European Mint is its consistently light mint variegation. Unlike high-contrast white variegated Monsteras, this variety remains soft and balanced in appearance.
Typical foliage characteristics include:
The beauty of this plant comes from its understated aesthetic rather than bold or dramatic variegation.
Like other Monsteras, this plant is toxic if ingested by pets or humans due to calcium oxalate crystals. Keep away from pets and children.
