Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Anthurium ‘Silver Blush’ is a refined and highly desirable foliage Anthurium admired for its soft, silvery veining and velvety heart-shaped leaves. A member of the Araceae family and native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, this cultivar is closely related to velvet-leaf Anthuriums such as Anthurium crystallinum, but is prized for its gentler, more diffused silver tones.
The broad, cordate leaves emerge deep green with a plush, velvety texture, gradually developing a luminous silver “blush” along the veins and midrib. Unlike sharper white-veined varieties, Silver Blush has a softer, misted appearance — elegant rather than high-contrast. As the plant matures, the leaves grow larger and more dramatic, forming a compact yet luxurious rosette that feels timeless and sophisticated.
Understated, calm, and undeniably beautiful, Anthurium ‘Silver Blush’ is a perfect choice for collectors who appreciate texture, softness, and refined tropical foliage.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Good light encourages stronger silver veining and larger leaves. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the velvety surface, and very low light, which may reduce contrast and slow growth.
Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Anthuriums are sensitive to overwatering, so ensure excellent drainage. Reduce watering slightly in winter while maintaining humidity.
Temperature: Prefers warmth between 18–28 °C; avoid temperatures below 15 °C and cold drafts.
Humidity: High humidity (60–80%) is strongly recommended to maintain leaf texture and prevent browning edges. Use a humidifier or grow cabinet if possible.
Use a loose, airy aroid mix — compost combined with orchid bark, perlite, coco coir, and a little sphagnum moss works beautifully. This provides both moisture retention and airflow around the roots. Repot every 1–2 years in spring.
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser. Avoid overfeeding, which can cause leaf edge burn. Pause feeding during autumn and winter.
Remove older or damaged leaves at the base to keep the plant tidy and redirect energy into new growth. Wipe leaves gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth — avoid heavy rubbing on the velvet surface. Rotate the plant occasionally for even growth.
A moderate grower, Anthurium ‘Silver Blush’ typically reaches 40–60 cm in height and spread indoors. Mature plants produce increasingly large, heart-shaped leaves with enhanced silver veining, creating a lush, collector-grade display.
Brown leaf edges: Low humidity or inconsistent watering.
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Dull veining: Insufficient light.
Pests: Occasionally spider mites or thrips — treat promptly and increase humidity.
Velvet Anthuriums originate from humid tropical understories, where filtered light and constant moisture create ideal growing conditions. Anthurium ‘Silver Blush’ has become popular for its softer aesthetic compared to stark white-veined varieties, offering a more calming, neutral palette that fits beautifully into modern interiors.
Like other Anthuriums, it contributes to improved indoor air quality and creates a tranquil, biophilic atmosphere. Symbolically, its silvery tones represent clarity, balance, and quiet luxury — making it a favourite for curated plant collections.
