Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Begonia Beleaf ‘Maori Haze’ is a dazzling foliage begonia from the Beleaf breeding series, created for its bold colours, compact size, and strong garden performance indoors. Part of the Begoniaceae family, this cultivar is known for its kaleidoscopic leaf patterns that seem to shift in colour as the plant grows.
The large, asymmetrical leaves are slightly crinkled and textured, with a base colour that can range from deep plum-purple to smoky green. Over this canvas are metallic silver swirls and bright splashes of pink, burgundy, or rose tones that vary from leaf to leaf. The undersides of the leaves are usually rich red, adding further depth and drama. Under the right light, the leaves appear almost iridescent, giving ‘Maori Haze’ its name.
Compact and bushy, this begonia typically grows 25–35 cm tall and wide, making it perfect for desktops, windowsills, or grouped with other colourful foliage plants. While it may produce small clusters of pink blooms, it is prized almost exclusively for its stunning leaves.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch the delicate leaves, while too little light may dull the vibrant patterns.
Keep the soil evenly moist, watering when the top 2–3 cm feels dry. Ensure good drainage, as begonias dislike soggy soil. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows.
Temperature: Best in 18–26°C. Keep away from draughts and avoid temperatures below 15°C.
Humidity: Requires high humidity (60%+). Mist lightly, use a pebble tray, or keep near a humidifier to prevent crisping leaf edges.
Plant in a light, free-draining peat-free compost mixed with perlite. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh the soil and provide room for root growth.
Feed every 2–3 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted balanced liquid fertiliser. Stop feeding in autumn and winter.
Remove faded or damaged leaves to keep the plant tidy. Pinching back new growth encourages a fuller, bushier plant.
A compact grower, typically reaching 25–35 cm tall. Produces colourful foliage all year under the right conditions. Flowers may appear but are secondary to the dramatic leaves.
Crisping edges: Caused by low humidity.
Yellow leaves: Usually linked to overwatering or poor drainage.
Faded colours: A sign of insufficient light.
Pests: May occasionally attract spider mites, aphids, or mealybugs.
The Beleaf series was created to combine striking ornamental leaves with a compact and easy-care habit. ‘Maori Haze’ is one of the most vibrant cultivars in the group, loved for its swirling silver, pink, and purple tones. Its ever-changing colour palette makes it a living piece of art in any plant collection.
