Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Begonia rex ‘Fedor’ is a vibrant foliage begonia cultivar belonging to the Rex Begonia group (Begonia rex-cultorum), prized for its bold colouring and ornamental leaves. Originally derived from species native to the humid forests of India, Rex begonias have become popular worldwide as striking houseplants.
‘Fedor’ features large, asymmetrical, spiralled leaves that showcase a dramatic blend of colours. The centres are deep burgundy to near-black, fading into metallic silver and green across the mid-leaf zones, while the margins are flushed with red, pink, or plum tones. The textured, slightly crinkled leaves reflect light beautifully, giving the plant a jewel-like quality. Each leaf is unique, making ‘Fedor’ a true collector’s specimen.
Compact in size, it typically grows 25–35 cm tall and wide, forming a colourful clump. While it may produce small pinkish flowers, it is grown primarily for its year-round decorative foliage.
Requires bright, indirect light to maintain strong colouration. Too little light may dull the silver and pink tones, while too much direct sun risks scorching the delicate foliage.
Keep the soil lightly moist, watering when the top 2–3 cm feels dry. Avoid waterlogging, as Rex begonias are prone to root rot. Reduce watering slightly during winter. Always water around the soil surface rather than directly onto the leaves.
Temperature: Prefers 18–24°C. Avoid draughts and temperatures below 15°C.
Humidity: Needs high humidity (60%+). Mist lightly, place on a pebble tray, or use a humidifier to prevent brown leaf edges.
Use a light, free-draining peat-free compost enriched with perlite or orchid bark. Rex begonias have shallow root systems, so wide, shallow pots are ideal. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh the mix.
Feed every 2–3 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser. Stop feeding in autumn and winter.
Remove yellowing or damaged leaves to keep the plant tidy and promote new growth. Pinch back stems to maintain a bushier habit.
A compact clump-forming begonia, growing to 25–35 cm tall and wide. Produces colourful foliage year-round under good conditions.
Brown tips/edges: Caused by low humidity.
Faded colouring: Insufficient light.
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Pests: Occasionally mealybugs, aphids, or spider mites.
Rex begonias are often referred to as “kings of foliage plants,” and ‘Fedor’ exemplifies why, with its dramatic colour palette and iridescent patterns. It is perfect as a feature houseplant, bringing intense colour to shaded interiors where many plants struggle.
