Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron ‘Imperial Green’ is a bold and resilient self-heading philodendron hybrid, developed for its striking upright form and glossy, vibrant foliage. Unlike climbing philodendrons, this cultivar grows in a dense rosette from a central stem, creating a strong architectural shape ideal for homes, offices, and modern interiors.
The large leaves are broad, leathery, and bright green with a glossy surface that reflects light beautifully. New leaves unfurl a lighter green before maturing into deeper emerald tones, creating a layered effect of fresh and mature foliage. Its simple yet commanding appearance makes it an excellent statement plant, providing lush greenery without requiring climbing support.
Typically, Philodendron ‘Imperial Green’ grows to around 80–120 cm tall indoors, forming a wide, bushy specimen. It is especially popular for its low-maintenance care, air-purifying qualities, and ability to bring a touch of the tropics to interiors year-round.
Prefers bright, indirect light but adapts well to medium light. It can tolerate lower light levels, though growth will be slower. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the large leaves.
Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy, as overwatering may cause root rot. Reduce watering slightly in winter.
Temperature: Thrives in 18–28°C. Avoid draughts and protect from cold below 15°C.
Humidity: Tolerates average household humidity but grows best in moderate to high humidity. Mist leaves occasionally in dry conditions.
Use a free-draining aroid mix – peat-free compost blended with perlite and orchid bark works well. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh the soil and give the plant room to expand.
Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser once a month during spring and summer. Stop feeding in autumn and winter when growth naturally slows.
Remove old or damaged leaves at the base to maintain a tidy appearance. Clean leaves regularly with a damp cloth to enhance their glossy sheen and support photosynthesis.
A moderate grower, usually reaching 80–120 cm in height and width indoors. Its self-heading growth habit keeps it compact and bushy without the need for support.
Yellowing leaves: Often caused by overwatering.
Brown tips: Usually low humidity or inconsistent watering.
Pests: Occasionally affected by spider mites, mealybugs, or thrips.
Philodendron ‘Imperial Green’ is one of several hybrids bred for bold foliage and compact form, alongside ‘Imperial Red’ and ‘Black Cardinal’. Its lush, bright leaves make it perfect for adding a splash of tropical greenery indoors, and like many philodendrons, it also improves air quality.
