Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Anthurium ‘Adios Red’ is a bold, vibrant flowering Anthurium cultivar celebrated for its glossy, heart-shaped foliage and striking deep red spathes. A member of the Araceae family and bred from tropical Anthurium hybrids, this variety stands out for its rich, velvety red blooms that appear almost lacquered — offering a premium, high-impact look perfect for modern interiors.
The plant forms a lush rosette of fresh green, glossy leaves that contrast beautifully with its intense ruby-red flowers. The spathes wrap elegantly around a bright yellow or deep red spadix, creating a timeless and romantic display. Long-lasting, consistently blooming, and compact in size, Anthurium ‘Adios Red’ is ideal for adding a pop of colour, warmth, and tropical luxury to homes, offices, and showroom spaces.
Striking, elegant, and full of character, this Anthurium brings passion and brightness to any plant collection.
Thrives in bright, indirect light, which encourages frequent flowering and vibrant colour. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves or fade the red spathes. Medium light is tolerated but may reduce bloom production.
Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Anthuriums are sensitive to overwatering, so ensure the pot drains freely. In winter, allow the soil to dry a little more between waterings.
Temperature: Prefers 18–28 °C; avoid temperatures below 15 °C and protect from cold drafts.
Humidity: High humidity (60–80%) supports glossy foliage and frequent blooms. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or place alongside other tropicals to maintain humid conditions.
Use a light, airy, well-draining aroid mix — compost blended with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir works beautifully. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh nutrients and encourage healthy root development.
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced fertiliser designed for flowering houseplants. Avoid over-fertilising, as this may cause leaf burn or interrupt blooming cycles.
Remove spent flowers and any yellowing leaves at the base to stimulate new blooms and maintain a tidy appearance. Wipe leaves gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and accentuate their glossy sheen. Rotate regularly to maintain balanced growth.
A compact grower, Anthurium ‘Adios Red’ typically reaches 40–60 cm in height and width. With consistent care, it can bloom year-round, producing vibrant red flowers that can last several weeks on the plant or in floral arrangements.
Yellow leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Brown edges: Low humidity or irregular watering.
Lack of blooms: Insufficient light or nutrients.
Pests: May be affected by thrips, aphids, or spider mites — treat promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
Anthuriums are native to humid forest floors in Central and South America, thriving in low, filtered light with consistent moisture and humidity. ‘Adios Red’ is a cultivated hybrid selected for its exceptional red colour intensity, reliable flowering habit, and compact, elegant shape.
Symbolically, red Anthuriums represent passion, abundance, confidence, and hospitality — making this variety an excellent gift or centrepiece. They are also known to help filter indoor air, removing pollutants while adding lush tropical energy to any space.
