Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Sansevieria aubrytiana ‘Nite Lite’ is a striking and unusual snake plant with upright, sword-shaped leaves in deep green to almost black tones. The leaves are marked with silvery-green horizontal banding, giving the plant a dramatic, almost metallic appearance. It is broader-leaved and more architectural than many common sansevierias, making it an excellent statement plant for shelves, sideboards or modern interiors.
As it matures, the foliage often becomes darker and more pronounced. Like all snake plants, it is slow growing but extremely hardy and stores water in its thick leaves, making it ideal for anyone who wants a low-maintenance houseplant.
Light
Sansevieria ‘Nite Lite’ prefers bright, indirect light. The stronger the light, the darker and more defined the markings usually become. It will tolerate lower light conditions, but growth will slow and the colour may become less intense. Avoid prolonged harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering
Allow the compost to dry out completely before watering again. In spring and summer, this is usually every 2–3 weeks. In winter, it may only need watering every 4–6 weeks. It is far better to underwater than overwater this plant, as soggy compost can quickly cause root rot.
Soil
Use a very free-draining compost, ideally a cactus or succulent mix. You can improve drainage further by adding perlite, grit or coarse sand. Always use a pot with drainage holes.
Temperature
It grows best between 15–25°C. Keep it away from cold draughts and avoid temperatures below 10°C.
Humidity
Average household humidity is perfectly suitable. There is no need to mist it, as this plant prefers drier air.
Feeding
Feed once a month during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser at half strength. Do not feed during autumn and winter.
Repotting
Repot every 2–3 years or when the roots become crowded. Snake plants prefer to be slightly root-bound, so only move it into a slightly larger pot.
The easiest way to propagate Sansevieria ‘Nite Lite’ is by dividing offsets, or “pups”, from the base of the plant. Remove the plant from its pot, gently separate the offset once it has roots of its own, and replant it in dry, free-draining compost.
This plant is mildly toxic if eaten, so it should be kept out of reach of pets and small children.
