Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Ficus microcarpa ‘Moclame’, also known as the Indian Laurel Fig, is a refined and modern indoor tree celebrated for its glossy, compact foliage and perfectly rounded canopy. Native to Southeast Asia and part of the Moraceae family, this elegant species is related to the popular Ficus benjamina and Ficus elastica, but is valued for its sturdier nature and more manageable growth habit.
The small, oval, deep green leaves are thick, shiny, and densely packed, creating a lush, dome-shaped crown. With its smooth grey trunk and symmetrical canopy, ‘Moclame’ has a timeless, sculptural appearance that works beautifully in both minimalist and tropical-inspired interiors.
A symbol of longevity, harmony, and resilience, Ficus ‘Moclame’ makes an ideal statement plant for homes, offices, and conservatories — providing a fresh, calming burst of greenery all year round.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. It tolerates moderate light but prefers a bright room to maintain dense foliage. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, and deep shade, which may lead to sparse growth.
Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil feels dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but not soggy, as Ficus roots dislike waterlogging. Allow excess water to drain freely and reduce watering during winter. Consistent watering helps prevent leaf drop.
Temperature: Prefers warmth, 18–26°C. Avoid cold draughts and temperatures below 12°C.
Humidity: Average indoor humidity is suitable. Mist occasionally to keep the foliage looking fresh and glossy.
Use a rich, free-draining peat-free compost, ideally with added perlite or sand for aeration. Repot every 2–3 years in spring, or refresh the top layer of soil annually. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent standing water.
Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser to encourage strong, healthy growth and deep green leaves. Pause feeding in winter.
Prune in spring or early summer to shape the canopy and control height. Ficus Moclame responds well to pruning and can be easily shaped into a compact, bushy tree. Wipe the leaves regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain their glossy shine. Rotate occasionally for even light exposure and growth.
A moderate grower, capable of reaching 1.5–2 metres indoors. It develops a tree-like form with a neat, rounded canopy that can be maintained at any desired height with light pruning.
Leaf drop: Often caused by sudden environmental changes or overwatering; usually temporary once the plant adjusts.
Yellow leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Brown edges: Low humidity or inconsistent watering.
Pests: Occasionally scale insects, mealybugs, or spider mites.
Ficus microcarpa is native to tropical regions of Asia and Australia, where it grows as a large evergreen tree. The ‘Moclame’ cultivar is bred for indoor cultivation, offering a compact, easy-care alternative to larger Ficus species like benjamina.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, it is also an excellent air-purifying plant, filtering toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene from the air. Its calm, rounded form brings a sense of balance and serenity to indoor spaces — ideal for both home and workplace environments.
