Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron ‘African Fantasy’ is a rare and striking hybrid philodendron, admired for its dramatic, deeply lobed foliage and vigorous climbing habit. As a member of the Araceae family, it is closely related to other large-leaved climbers such as Philodendron bipinnatifidum and Philodendron squamiferum, but stands out for its unusual leaf shape and bold tropical presence.
The leaves are elongated, glossy, and pinnately lobed, with each lobe tapering elegantly to a point. Mature foliage can grow impressively large, creating a lush, exotic display. Depending on light and maturity, the leaves may vary in depth of colour, ranging from bright emerald to a deeper, richer green. Its upright, climbing habit makes it ideal for growing against moss poles, trellises, or planks, where the foliage becomes larger and more dramatic with support.
With its sculptural form and exotic leaves, Philodendron ‘African Fantasy’ is an eye-catching collector’s plant that can transform any interior into a jungle-inspired space.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Tolerates medium light but will grow slower and produce smaller leaves. Avoid direct midday sun, which may scorch the foliage.
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering in autumn and winter when growth slows.
Temperature: Prefers warmth, 18–28°C. Protect from cold draughts and temperatures below 15°C.
Humidity: Benefits from moderate to high humidity (50–70%). Misting or the use of a humidifier will help maintain lush foliage.
Use a chunky, free-draining aroid mix – peat-free compost enriched with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir is ideal. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh the soil and give roots space.
Feed every 2–3 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Reduce feeding in cooler months.
Prune lightly to shape and control size. Remove yellowing or damaged leaves at the base. Train the plant onto a moss pole or trellis to encourage larger leaf development.
A vigorous grower indoors, capable of reaching 1–2 m with support. Leaves become more deeply lobed and ornamental as the plant matures.
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Leggy growth: Insufficient light.
Brown tips: Low humidity.
Pests: Occasionally thrips, spider mites, or mealybugs.
Philodendron ‘African Fantasy’ is a hybrid developed for its bold, lobed leaves and climbing habit. Its unique foliage makes it an excellent statement piece for collectors and plant stylists alike, while its easy-going nature makes it manageable even for less experienced growers.
