Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. Aglaonema ‘Red Zirkon’ is a bold, vibrant cultivar of Aglaonema, loved for its rich ruby-red and deep pink foliage edged with dark green margins.
Its glossy, oval-shaped leaves create a lush, tropical feel while delivering an intense pop of colour. Unlike many colourful houseplants, ‘Red Zirkon’ is surprisingly low maintenance, making it ideal for beginners as well as collectors looking to brighten darker corners.
Compact, resilient and adaptable, it’s a fantastic choice for homes and offices alike.
🌿 Deep red to pink foliage
🌿 Dark green leaf edging for contrast
🌿 Glossy, upright growth
🌿 Compact and easy-care
🌿 Excellent low-light tolerance
One of the most adaptable colourful houseplants.
Thrives in bright, indirect light
Tolerates medium and lower light levels
Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can fade or scorch leaves
While it can tolerate lower light, brighter indirect light will enhance its red tones.
Allow the top 3–5cm of soil to dry before watering.
Spring/Summer: Water roughly every 7–10 days
Autumn/Winter: Reduce frequency
Always:
Use a pot with drainage holes
Avoid leaving the plant sitting in water
Aglaonemas prefer slightly moist soil but are more forgiving than many tropical plants.
Prefers moderate humidity but adapts well to typical UK homes.
Ideal range: 50–60%
Avoid very dry air in winter
Occasional misting or grouping plants can help
Leaf edges may brown if humidity is extremely low.
Ideal: 18–26°C
Avoid temperatures below 15°C
Keep away from cold draughts and radiators
Stable indoor temperatures suit this plant perfectly.
Use a well-draining, moisture-retentive mix:
Peat-free houseplant compost
Perlite
A small amount of bark for aeration
The soil should stay lightly moist but never soggy.
Feed during active growth (March–September):
Balanced liquid fertiliser every 4 weeks
Reduce or stop feeding in winter
Avoid overfeeding to prevent leaf tip burn.
Upright, clump-forming plant
Typically reaches 30–60cm tall
Produces new leaves from the centre
Older lower leaves may naturally yellow over time — this is normal.
Best propagated by division:
Remove plant from pot
Gently separate clumps at the root ball
Repot into fresh soil
This is best done in spring.
Yellow leaves
Usually overwatering
Brown leaf tips
Low humidity or inconsistent watering
Faded colour
Insufficient light
Drooping leaves
Thirst or temperature stress
Perfect for brightening darker rooms
Looks striking in white, black or gold pots
Pairs beautifully with green foliage plants for contrast
Ideal for offices or low-light shelves
Like other Aglaonemas, it is toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
