Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Tillandsia, commonly known as air plants, are a fascinating and diverse genus within the bromeliad family, renowned for their unique ability to grow without soil. They thrive on air and minimal water, making them an ideal choice for easy-care indoor plants. This pack contains 6 mixed Tillandsia and will be chosen at random based on availability at the time of purchase.
This guide will provide a comprehensive overview of a typical Tillandsia Air Plant mix, along with a detailed care guide.
Appearance: The Tillandsia mix often includes a variety of species, each with distinct characteristics. They typically have slender, elongated leaves that can range in colour from bright green to silvery grey. Some species may have leaves that are curly or trichome-covered, which are tiny scales that help absorb water and nutrients.
Size: These plants vary in size from small, a few centimetres across, to larger ones that can grow up to several inches in diameter.
Flowering: Many Tillandsias produce beautiful flowers that can be quite striking, ranging in colour from vivid blues and purples to bright pinks and reds.
Growth Habit: They are epiphytes, meaning they naturally grow on other plants, rocks, or structures, but they are not parasitic. Instead, they use their host merely for support.
Light: Place them in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can be too harsh, especially during the hotter parts of the day, but some morning or late afternoon sun is beneficial.
Watering: Despite their name, air plants need more than just air to survive. Mist them 2-3 times a week, or soak them in water for about 30 minutes once a week. Allow them to dry completely before returning them to their display spot.
Air Circulation: Good air circulation is crucial. After watering, ensure they are completely dry within four hours to prevent rot. Avoid enclosed containers where air flow is limited.
Temperature: They prefer warm temperatures but can tolerate a range from 10 to 32 degrees Celsius. Protect them from frost.
Fertilizing: Use a bromeliad or orchid fertilizer at ¼ strength once a month during the growing season. Avoid over-fertilizing as it can harm the plant.
Mounting: They can be mounted on various surfaces like wood, rocks, or shells. Use a non-water-soluble adhesive, or simply place them in a spot where they can sit securely.
Pruning: Prune any dead or damaged leaves to encourage healthier growth. Use a sharp, sterilised tool to avoid damaging the plant.
Propagation: They propagate by producing "pups" or offsets from the base of the mother plant. Once these pups are about one-third the size of the parent plant, they can be gently removed and grown independently.
Tillandsia air plants are an excellent choice for plant enthusiasts looking for low-maintenance, visually interesting plants. By following these care instructions, your Tillandsia mix should thrive and bring a unique touch of nature to your indoor space.
