Yucca Elephantipes, also known as the Spineless Yucca or Giant Yucca, is a popular houseplant with long, leathery, dark green leaves and a sturdy trunk. Native to Mexico and Central America, it's a drought-tolerant plant that can be a stylish and low-maintenance addition to indoor spaces.

Description:

• Foliage: Long, sword-like leaves, typically dark green, arch gracefully from the plant's central stalk. They are softer and not as sharp as other Yucca species.

• Trunk: The plant's trunk (or stem) is thick and somewhat resembles an elephant's foot, hence the name. It can become woody with age.

• Size: Indoors, it can grow anywhere from 4-8 feet tall, depending on the pot size and ceiling height. However, in its natural habitat, it can reach heights of up to 30 feet.

Care Guide:

1. Light: Yucca Elephantipes thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sunlight. They can also manage in lower light conditions, but their growth might be slower, and they may lose some of their vibrant green color.

2. Water: This plant is drought-tolerant. Let the soil dry out between waterings. It's better to underwater than overwater, as the plant's roots can rot in soggy soil.

3. Humidity: Yucca Elephantipes doesn't require high humidity and is quite tolerant of average indoor humidity levels.

4. Temperature: They prefer temperatures between 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C). They can tolerate a range of temperatures but try to avoid drastic temperature fluctuations.
