With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Begonia darthvaderiana ‘Green Spot’ is an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after species begonia from Borneo. Named for its dramatic, dark foliage, this form features deep charcoal to near-black leaves accented with subtle green spotting and a sculptural, almost otherworldly texture.
It’s a true collector’s plant — bold, moody and unlike typical begonias, with an almost velvety, armour-like leaf surface.
Deep black to very dark green leaves
Distinctive green spotting or speckling
Thick, textured, slightly puckered surface
Rounded to shield-shaped leaf form
Compact, low-growing habit
The dramatic colour deepens in stable, humid conditions, giving it a rich, matte finish.
Small, pale pink blooms
Delicate and secondary to the foliage
May appear in warm, bright conditions
It is grown primarily for its extraordinary leaves rather than its flowers.
Typical indoor height: 15–25 cm
Compact and slow-growing
Ideal for terrariums or humidity cabinets
Its small size makes it perfect for curated collector displays.
Prefers low to bright indirect light
Avoid direct sunlight
Too much light may wash out the dark colouring
Filtered, forest-style lighting suits it best.
Keep compost consistently lightly moist
Never allow to sit in water
Avoid letting the soil dry out fully
Reduce watering slightly in winter
A free-draining, airy mix is essential.
Ideal temperature: 18–24°C
Avoid temperatures below 16°C
Requires high humidity (60–80% preferred)
This species thrives in stable, warm, humid environments.
Sensitive to sudden environmental changes
Best suited to terrariums or controlled environments
Ensure gentle airflow to prevent fungal issues
