Bring a touch of traditional cottage charm to your garden with this set of three Primula veris, commonly known as Cowslip or Cowslip Primrose. A beloved native British wildflower, Cowslip produces delightful clusters of nodding, sweetly fragrant yellow flowers held on upright stems above neat rosettes of crinkled green foliage. Flowering in spring, these cheerful perennials are among the first to signal the arrival of warmer days and are a valuable early nectar source for bees and butterflies.

Primula veris is a wonderfully versatile and low-maintenance plant, perfectly suited to borders, rockeries, wildflower meadows, cottage gardens, and containers. It thrives in a range of conditions and, once established, will naturalise freely, returning reliably year after year. This hardy perennial is an RHS Award of Garden Merit holder, recognised for its outstanding garden performance.

Each set contains three garden-ready plants supplied as 1Ltr root-balls, well-rooted and ready to plant straight into your garden or containers.

Space plants approximately 20–25 cm apart to allow each rosette room to develop. Water regularly after planting until established. Once settled, Primula veris requires very little ongoing care and will often self-seed to create natural drifts of colour.

Notes: Available in yellow. This variety produces the classic golden-yellow flowers that Cowslip Primrose is best known for.
