Plant Care

Plant in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Water regularly during dry spells, especially when grown in containers. Feed fortnightly with a high-potash liquid fertiliser once buds begin to form to encourage continuous flowering. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to promote further flushes of flowers. In colder regions, lift tubers after the first frost and store in a cool, frost-free place over winter, or apply a thick mulch to protect them in milder areas.
