Dahlia Fun Pomegranate is a striking bicolour variety producing an abundance of vibrant red and pink double flowers throughout the summer months. Part of the popular Maggiore series, this colourful dahlia is a fantastic choice for flower beds, border planting and cutting gardens, providing long-lasting summer displays with its rich, jewel-toned blooms.

Plant Growing Conditions:

Plant outdoors from late spring after the last frost. These summer flowering plants thrive in full sun in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. When planting, space them 45–60 cm apart and water regularly during the growing season. Growing in containers is also possible — use a large pot with good drainage for container gardening on patios and decks.

Dahlia Care:

These repeat flowering plants will bloom from midsummer through to autumn, providing late summer and autumn colour. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering and extend bloom time. Feed fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser during the growing season. In colder regions, lift tubers after the first frost and store in a cool, dry place over winter. With proper care, these tuberous perennials will reward you with multi-headed blooms year after year.
