We understand the importance of receiving your plants in the best possible state, ready to enhance your space from the moment they arrive. With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Half Moon Monstera Mint is an ultra-rare mint-variegated form of Monstera deliciosa featuring dramatic sectoral splits of soft mint-green and deep green foliage.
Unlike yellow Aurea or creamy Thai Constellation types, Mint variegation appears as cool, icy green marbling. In half-moon form, one side of the leaf is largely mint-toned while the other remains solid green, creating a clean, high-contrast division.
As the plant matures, it produces the iconic split and perforated leaves, making each half-moon leaf even more architectural and striking. Highly sought-after and slow to produce perfect sectoral leaves, it is considered collector-grade.
🌿 Soft mint-green sectoral variegation
🌿 Clean half-moon leaf splits
🌿 Large, fenestrated mature foliage
🌿 Climbing growth habit
🌿 Extremely rare and premium variety
Bright, indirect light is essential.
Place near east or west-facing windows
Use sheer curtains in bright south-facing rooms
Avoid harsh direct sun (can scorch pale mint sections)
Too little light may reduce variegation or cause reversion
Mint varieties require strong filtered light to maintain colour balance.
Allow the top 3–5cm of soil to dry before watering.
Spring/Summer: Water when lightly dry
Autumn/Winter: Reduce frequency
Important:
Use pots with drainage holes
Never allow roots to sit in water
Variegated Monsteras are more sensitive to overwatering than fully green forms.
Prefers moderate to high humidity.
Ideal range: 60%+
Benefits from a humidifier
Low humidity may cause browning on mint sections
Stable humidity helps maintain clean, healthy foliage.
Ideal: 18–28°C
Avoid temperatures below 15°C
Protect from draughts
Consistent warmth supports steady growth.
Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix:
Peat-free houseplant compost
Orchid bark
Perlite
Horticultural charcoal (optional)
Good aeration prevents root rot and supports aerial roots.
Feed during active growth (March–September):
Balanced liquid fertiliser every 2–4 weeks
Reduce feeding in winter
Avoid overfeeding to prevent salt build-up.
Vigorous climber
Produces aerial roots
Leaves become larger and more fenestrated with support
Providing a moss pole encourages mature half-moon foliage and stronger stems.
Propagate via stem cuttings:
Ensure at least one node per cutting
Root in water, moss or soil
Keep warm and bright
Note: Mint variegation can vary between leaves, and not every new leaf will be half-moon.
Reversion to green
Insufficient light
Very pale leaves with little green
Reduced chlorophyll may weaken growth
Brown patches on mint sections
Sun scorch or low humidity
Balanced green-to-mint ratio supports stronger overall growth.
Train up a moss pole for maximum impact
Ideal as a premium statement plant
Looks stunning in neutral or stone-toned pots
Pairs beautifully with darker foliage plants
Its cool mint tones offer a softer, more refined alternative to yellow variegation, making it a centrepiece in any rare plant collection.
Like other Monsteras, it is toxic if ingested by pets or humans. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.
