Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron 'Jose Buono' is a striking variety of philodendron known for its large, variegated leaves. The leaves are typically a mix of deep green and creamy white, with each leaf displaying a unique pattern of variegation. The foliage has a leathery texture and leaves are lobed, often appearing somewhat ruffled, which adds to the plant's overall interest. This makes the 'Jose Buono' a sought-after choice for enthusiasts of exotic or unusual houseplants.
Here's a basic guide on how to care for your Philodendron 'Jose Buono':
Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light conditions, the variegation on the leaves may become more pronounced with more light. However, protect it from direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Philodendron 'Jose Buono' likes consistently moist soil, but be cautious not to overwater. Wait until the top inch of soil is dry before watering again, as constantly waterlogged soil can lead to root rot.
Humidity: As a tropical plant, this philodendron prefers higher humidity levels. Consider using a pebble tray with water, a humidifier, or regularly misting the plant to increase humidity.
Temperature: This plant prefers warmer temperatures and does best between 65-80°F (18-27°C). It's not frost-tolerant and should be kept away from cold drafts or drastic temperature changes.
Soil: A well-draining soil is crucial for this plant. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark or other organic material can provide good drainage and aeration.
Fertilizer: During the growing season (spring and summer), feed your plant every two weeks with a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Reduce feeding to once a month or none at all during fall and winter.
Repotting: Repot your Philodendron 'Jose Buono' every 2-3 years, or when it becomes root-bound. This refreshes the soil and gives the plant more room to grow.
Support: Like other philodendrons, 'Jose Buono' is a climber. Providing a moss pole or trellis can help it grow tall and support its large leaves.
Propagation: You can propagate this plant through stem cuttings, which should include at least one node. Place the cutting in water until roots form, then transfer it to soil.
As with all houseplants, it's crucial to monitor the health of your Philodendron 'Jose Buono' regularly. Adjust your care routine as necessary based on its condition. This plant can make a dramatic statement in your home with its large, uniquely variegated leaves.
