Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron micans ‘Marble Variegata’ is an exceptionally rare variegated form of the beloved Philodendron micans, combining the species’ signature velvety foliage with dramatic marbled variegation. Unlike standard green Micans, this collector’s plant produces leaves splashed with cream, lime, mint and yellow variegation across deep green backgrounds, creating a striking contrast against the soft, velvet-like texture.
One of the most appealing features of Philodendron micans is its colour-changing foliage. New leaves often emerge with copper, bronze or reddish tones before hardening into rich green shades. In the variegated marble form, each new leaf can be a complete surprise — some heavily marbled, others lightly flecked or sectoral. No two leaves are identical, making every plant unique.
As a climbing aroid, Micans Marble Variegata naturally grows up trees in tropical environments. Given a moss pole or climbing support, leaf size can increase significantly and mature foliage becomes far more dramatic. Left unsupported, it forms a beautiful trailing plant suitable for shelves or hanging displays.
Bright, indirect light is essential for maintaining healthy growth and preserving strong variegation.
Ideal placement:
Variegated plants require more light than green forms because lighter sections contain less chlorophyll.
Too little light can cause:
Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which may scorch delicate variegated areas.
Philodendron micans ‘Marble Variegata’ prefers evenly moist soil with light drying between waterings.
Water once the top 30–50% of soil feels dry.
General guide:
Spring/Summer: every 7–10 days
Autumn/Winter: every 10–14+ days
Avoid keeping compost constantly wet.
Signs of overwatering:
Signs of underwatering:
This plant thrives in elevated humidity.
Ideal humidity:
60–80%
Higher humidity encourages:
Although it adapts to normal household conditions, growth is often noticeably better with extra humidity.
Ideal temperatures:
18–29°C
Avoid temperatures below 15°C and protect from cold draughts.
Warm, stable conditions are important, especially for highly variegated forms.
As a tropical climbing aroid, Micans Marble Variegata prefers a chunky, airy growing medium.
Recommended mix:
Excellent drainage is essential.
Providing a moss pole or climbing support can dramatically improve growth.
Benefits include:
✔ Larger leaves
✔ Faster maturation
✔ Stronger stems
✔ More dramatic foliage
Without support, the plant remains more trailing with smaller leaves.
During active growth:
Reduce feeding during winter.
Marble variegation can be unpredictable.
You may notice:
Occasionally plants may produce highly variegated leaves with reduced chlorophyll. If entirely pale growth continues, pruning back to a healthier node may help maintain vigour.
Propagation is usually done via stem cuttings.
Cuttings require:
✔ At least one node
✔ A growth point
✔ Preferably an aerial root
Can be rooted in:
Variegation levels may vary from cutting to cutting.
Brown crispy patches
Yellow leaves
Weak variegation
Small leaves
Spider mites or thrips
