Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron 'Painted Lady' is a highly sought-after climbing philodendron with bright, almost neon foliage and contrasting pinkish stems. New leaves emerge a vivid yellow-green with darker green speckling and mottling across the surface, giving the impression that each leaf has been lightly painted by hand. As the foliage matures it deepens slightly, but still retains its marbled, lime-green appearance.
The stems and petioles are flushed pink to peach, which adds even more colour and contrast. The leaves are elongated and slightly glossy, becoming larger and more dramatic as the plant matures and climbs.
Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ is a vigorous climber and grows best with a moss pole or support. Indoors it can eventually reach well over 1m tall when given the right conditions.
Its bright chartreuse foliage would fit beautifully into your Variegated Houseplant Collection, whilst the pink stems also complement the plants in your Pink Hues collection, particularly Syngonium ‘Pink Robusta’ and Ficus ‘Belize’.
Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ prefers bright, indirect light.
Place it close to an east or west-facing window with filtered light. Good light is essential to maintain the bright yellow-green colouring and darker mottling.
Too little light can cause:
Avoid harsh midday sun, as the lighter foliage can scorch.
Allow the top 3–5cm of compost to dry out before watering.
Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ prefers slightly moist compost but is much happier being allowed to dry slightly between waterings than sitting in wet soil.
This philodendron enjoys moderate to high humidity, ideally around 60% or more.
It will still grow in average household humidity, but higher humidity helps produce larger leaves and healthier new growth.
Low humidity may cause:
Keep Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ warm, ideally between 18–27°C.
Avoid:
Use a chunky, airy aroid mix that drains freely.
A good mix is:
This helps keep the roots healthy and well aerated.
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser at half strength.
Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ benefits from regular feeding during active growth, but avoid overfeeding as this can damage the roots.
This plant climbs naturally and grows best with support such as:
Supporting the stems encourages larger leaves and a fuller, more mature appearance.
Repot every 1–2 years in spring when:
Only move up one pot size at a time.
Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ is toxic if eaten and should be kept away from pets and young children. The leaves and stems contain calcium oxalate crystals which can cause irritation and stomach upset if consumed.
