Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Spathiphyllum, commonly known as the Peace Lily, is one of the most popular and elegant indoor plants in the world. Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, this evergreen perennial from the Araceae family is celebrated for its graceful white blooms and glossy, dark green leaves.
The Peace Lily’s signature flowers are actually white spathes — modified leaves that surround a slender cream or yellow spadix — symbolising peace, purity, and harmony. These long-lasting blooms rise elegantly above the foliage and can appear multiple times a year in good conditions. The lush, arching leaves bring a tropical feel to interiors while helping to purify the air, making it both a decorative and practical choice for homes and offices.
Perfect for beginners and seasoned plant lovers alike, Spathiphyllum is an easy-care plant that adds calm, natural beauty to any space.
Thrives in bright, indirect light, but also tolerates lower light levels better than most flowering plants. In low light, flowering may be reduced, but the plant will continue to produce lush green foliage. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm feels dry. Peace Lilies are sensitive to drought — the leaves will droop slightly when the plant needs water, then recover quickly once watered. Use filtered or rainwater if possible, as they can be sensitive to fluoride in tap water.
Temperature: Prefers 18–26°C. Avoid cold draughts and temperatures below 15°C.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Mist occasionally or place near other plants to maintain healthy, glossy foliage.
Use a rich, free-draining, peat-free compost with added perlite for aeration. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh the soil and encourage healthy root growth.
Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser. Over-fertilising can cause leaf tips to brown. Do not feed in winter when growth slows.
Remove yellowing or damaged leaves at the base. After blooms fade, cut the flower stems back to encourage new growth. Wipe leaves regularly with a damp cloth to maintain their shine and help the plant breathe.
A moderately fast grower that typically reaches 40–90 cm tall indoors. Mature plants can flower multiple times a year with proper light and care.
Brown leaf tips: Low humidity, over-fertilising, or chemicals in tap water.
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
No flowers: Insufficient light or lack of feeding.
Pests: Occasionally spider mites or mealybugs — wipe leaves regularly to prevent infestations.
The Peace Lily was first introduced to Europe in the late 19th century and has remained a favourite ever since. It is one of NASA’s top-rated air-purifying plants, known to remove toxins such as benzene, formaldehyde, and carbon monoxide from indoor air. Symbolically, the Peace Lily represents tranquillity, renewal, and hope, making it a thoughtful gift as well as a timeless addition to your home.
