Aloe Houseplants
Aloe, commonly known as Aloe Vera, is a popular houseplant cherished for its succulent, spiky leaves and numerous health benefits. This resilient plant thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sunlight, making it suitable for various indoor environments. Water your Aloe sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, typically every three weeks or so, and ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. Its striking, fleshy leaves make Aloe a beautiful and functional addition to any room.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, Aloe is incredibly easy to care for, ideal for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts. It prefers temperatures between 13°C and 27°C and does well in low humidity. Fertilise sparingly, about once every six months, with a balanced liquid fertiliser during the growing season. With minimal care, Aloe can enhance your indoor space with its attractive, architectural form while also providing soothing gel for minor burns and skin irritations, adding both beauty and utility to your home or office.
