Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Peperomia obtusifolia ‘Lemon’, also known as the Lemon Baby Rubber Plant, is a bright and cheerful variegated Peperomia cultivar celebrated for its fresh lemon-yellow margins and glossy, spoon-shaped leaves. A member of the Piperaceae family and native to tropical Central and South America, this compact houseplant brings a burst of light and colour to any indoor space.
Its thick, succulent-like leaves are splashed with vibrant chartreuse, creamy lemon, and soft green tones, creating a clean, modern, uplifting look. With its naturally bushy, upright growth habit and sturdy stems, Peperomia obtusifolia ‘Lemon’ is an ideal plant for desks, shelves, and small interiors — offering both bright foliage and exceptionally low-maintenance care.
Fresh, bold, and full of personality, this little Peperomia is a perfect choice for beginners, collectors, and anyone wanting a touch of sunshine indoors.
Thrives in bright, indirect light, which enhances its lemon-yellow variegation. It also tolerates medium light well but may produce more green leaves in dimmer settings. Avoid deep shade and harsh direct sun, which can scorch the foliage.
Allow the top 3–4 cm of soil to dry between waterings. Peperomias store moisture in their thick leaves, so it’s best to underwater rather than overwater. Water thoroughly and let excess drain away. Reduce watering in winter.
Temperature: Prefers 18–26 °C; avoid temperatures below 12 °C.
Humidity: Average household humidity is sufficient. It thrives without extra misting, making it ideal for dry homes and offices.
Use a well-draining, light potting mix — a combination of compost, perlite, and coco coir works perfectly. Peperomias prefer slightly root-bound conditions, so repot only every 2–3 years.
Feed every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser. Avoid heavy feeding, as Peperomias are sensitive to nutrient buildup.
Pinch back leggy growth to encourage a bushier shape. Remove any damaged or older leaves at the base. Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to keep them glossy and vibrant.
A compact grower reaching 20–30 cm tall and wide. Its tidy form makes it perfect for small spaces, terrariums, offices, and bright kitchens.
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering.
Leaf drop: Temperature shock or very dry soil.
Pale colour: Insufficient light.
Pests: Occasionally mealybugs or fungus gnats — treat promptly.
Peperomia obtusifolia is a beloved classic species known for its easy-going nature and charming, glossy leaves. The ‘Lemon’ form adds a bright and refreshing twist, with bold colour that stays vivid year-round.
Peperomias are excellent air-purifiers and are completely pet-friendly — making them safe choices for households with cats, dogs, or children.
Symbolically, their compact, resilient growth represents balance, harmony, and positivity — fitting for a plant that brings so much brightness into a room.
