We understand the importance of receiving your plants in the best possible state, ready to enhance your space from the moment they arrive. With Plants for all Seasons's Live Delivery Guarantee, you can shop with complete peace of mind, knowing that your green investments are protected from our nursery to your doorstep.
Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Begonia pavonina, often referred to as the “Peacock Begonia”, is one of the most mesmerising foliage begonias available. Native to the shaded forests of Malaysia, it is celebrated for its remarkable blue iridescence — a shimmering effect that appears when light hits the leaves at certain angles.
This blue glow is not pigmentation but a structural adaptation that helps the plant capture light in very low-light rainforest conditions. Indoors, it creates an almost metallic, electric sheen that feels completely otherworldly.
Deep green to bronze base colour
Iridescent electric-blue shimmer in low to moderate light
Slightly elongated, softly pointed leaves
Matte texture with subtle surface patterning
Low, spreading growth habit
The intensity of the blue sheen is strongest in lower light — too much brightness can reduce the effect.
Small, pale pink to white blooms
Delicate and understated
Secondary to the foliage
It is grown almost exclusively for its extraordinary leaf colour.
Typical indoor height: 15–30 cm
Compact, creeping habit
Ideal for terrariums or humidity cabinets
It remains relatively small but visually striking.
Prefers low to bright indirect light
Avoid direct sunlight
Lower light enhances the blue iridescence
This species thrives in filtered, forest-like lighting.
Keep compost lightly moist
Do not allow to dry out fully
Avoid waterlogging
Reduce watering slightly in cooler months
Consistent moisture with excellent drainage is key.
Ideal range: 18–24°C
Avoid temperatures below 15°C
Requires higher humidity (60%+ recommended)
Best suited to terrariums, cabinets, or humid rooms.
Sensitive to cold and dry air
Avoid placing near radiators or draughts
Feed lightly during the growing season
