Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. We collaborate exclusively with leading courier services, renowned for their reliability and exceptional handling practices, to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Spathiphyllum 'Diamond Variegated' is an elegant and unusual variegated form of the classic peace lily. It has glossy, lance-shaped leaves marbled with creamy white, soft green and deeper green tones. Each leaf is unique, with some heavily splashed in white whilst others display finer streaks and patches of variegation.
The variegation gives the plant a much brighter, more decorative appearance than a standard Spathiphyllum, whilst still keeping the graceful, arching growth habit that peace lilies are known for. Mature plants usually reach around 40–60cm tall and wide indoors.
When happy, Spathiphyllum ‘Diamond Variegated’ may also produce the familiar peace lily flowers – elegant white spathes surrounding a pale central spadix. Against the variegated foliage, the flowers appear especially striking.
Because of its marbled leaves, this plant would fit beautifully into your Variegated Houseplant Collection alongside Maranta ‘Variegated’, Ficus benjamina ‘Variegata’ and Pothos ‘Marble Queen’.
Spathiphyllum ‘Diamond Variegated’ prefers bright, indirect light.
Because of its variegated leaves, it needs a little more light than a standard green peace lily to maintain the white patterning. A position near an east-facing window or slightly back from a brighter south or west-facing window is ideal.
Avoid strong direct sun, which can scorch the white areas of the leaves.
Too little light may cause:
Keep the compost lightly moist but not soggy.
Peace lilies are known for drooping dramatically when they are thirsty, but it is best not to let this happen too often, as repeated wilting can stress the plant.
Reduce watering slightly during winter.
Spathiphyllum ‘Diamond Variegated’ prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally 50–70%.
It adapts reasonably well to normal household conditions, but higher humidity will help keep the leaves looking their best and prevent brown tips.
You can increase humidity by:
Keep this plant between 18–26°C.
Avoid:
Use a light, moisture-retentive but well-draining compost.
A suitable mix is:
This will keep the roots evenly moist without becoming waterlogged.
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser at half strength.
Do not overfeed, as this can lead to brown tips on the leaves.
Repot every 1–2 years in spring if needed.
Move it into a pot one size larger when:
Spathiphyllum ‘Diamond Variegated’ generally prefers to be slightly snug in its pot.
Spathiphyllum ‘Diamond Variegated’ is toxic if eaten and should be kept away from pets and children. The leaves and stems contain calcium oxalate crystals which can cause irritation and stomach upset if consumed.
