Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Philodendron erubescens ‘White Princess’ is a rare and exquisitely variegated tropical aroid cherished for its snow-white marbling, emerald-green leaves, and occasional pink-blushed stems. A sophisticated hybrid from the Araceae family, this compact climbing Philodendron is the perfect blend of elegance and rarity — a must-have for serious collectors and tropical plant enthusiasts.
Each glossy leaf is an artwork of green and white variegation, with unpredictable patches, streaks, and half-moon patterns. Unlike its close relatives, the ‘Pink Princess’ and ‘White Knight’, ‘White Princess’ features both crisp white sectors and a subtle rosy hue where the variegation meets the green, adding depth and complexity to every leaf. Its stems can show shades of soft pink to deep burgundy, enhancing its ornamental appeal.
Compact, upright, and effortlessly refined, Philodendron ‘White Princess’ brings a sense of light, contrast, and luxury to any plant collection — a true modern tropical masterpiece.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Strong filtered light preserves the white variegation and encourages healthy growth. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the pale sections, and low light, which may cause the plant to revert to greener foliage. East- or west-facing windows with sheer curtains are ideal.
Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Variegated Philodendrons are more sensitive to overwatering due to their reduced chlorophyll content. During winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry a little more between waterings.
Temperature: Prefers warmth between 20–28 °C; avoid exposure below 16 °C.
Humidity: Requires moderate to high humidity (60–80%) to maintain lush foliage and prevent crisping on variegated edges. Use a humidifier or pebble tray to stabilise moisture in drier environments.
Use a well-draining, airy aroid mix, such as compost blended with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. This provides both aeration and gentle moisture retention. Repot every 1–2 years in spring to refresh the soil and encourage strong root development. Provide a moss pole or trellis to support climbing and enhance leaf size.
Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing season with a diluted, balanced fertiliser or one formulated for foliage plants. Over-fertilising can burn the roots and diminish variegation quality. Suspend feeding in autumn and winter when growth slows.
Remove older, yellowing, or damaged leaves at the base to maintain a clean, upright appearance. Prune green-dominant leaves to encourage new variegated growth. Wipe the leaves regularly with a soft, damp cloth to keep their surface glossy and dust-free. Rotate the plant every few weeks to ensure balanced light exposure.
A moderate grower, Philodendron ‘White Princess’ typically reaches 60–90 cm in height indoors. Mature plants exhibit more defined variegation and thicker stems, with each new leaf revealing a unique pattern of white and green. When provided with a climbing pole and high humidity, leaf size increases, and variegation becomes more pronounced.
Faded variegation: Insufficient light.
Yellow leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage.
Brown edges: Low humidity or inconsistent watering.
Pests: Occasionally thrips or mealybugs; treat promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
Native to the rainforests of Colombia and Costa Rica, Philodendron erubescens is a highly adaptable climbing species known for its striking foliage and easy care. The ‘White Princess’ cultivar was selectively bred for its high-contrast white variegation and pink-tinged stems, which distinguish it from other erubescens hybrids like ‘White Knight’ and ‘White Wizard’.
In cultivation, it is loved for its compact growth, stunning variegation, and air-purifying qualities. Like all Philodendrons, it helps remove toxins from indoor air, promoting a cleaner, fresher living environment while adding an unmistakable sense of tropical sophistication.
