If you are struggling to find a soil mix that is well-draining and have done everything else you can try to improve it then these coco chips may just be the answer you are looking for. Made from slices of coconut husks these chips are an organic and all-natural way of improving the drainage in your soil. The porous shell of these husks will also absorb nutrients from the soil and slowly leech them back out to prevent their loss from watering. The coco also helps to act as soil neutralizer which will benefit any plants that dislike highly acid or alkaline soil. These chips are great for growing tomatoes and will eventually biodegrade and enrich the compost.
