Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Caladium ‘Miss Muffet’ is a charming dwarf variety, celebrated for its petite size and uniquely patterned foliage. The lime-green, heart-shaped leaves are adorned with deep pink speckles and fine red veining—giving them a delicate, freckled appearance that looks hand-painted.
Compact, colourful, and full of character, ‘Miss Muffet’ is perfect for windowsills, terrariums, small containers, or clustered displays. It brings a playful yet elegant feel to shaded corners indoors or outside during summer. Like other Caladiums, it grows from a tuber and shines during spring and summer before entering dormancy in winter.
Botanical Name: Caladium bicolor ‘Miss Muffet’
Common Names: Miss Muffet Caladium, Freckled Caladium
Family: Araceae
Foliage: Lime-green leaves with pink speckles and red veins
Growth Habit: Compact, clumping from tuber
Mature Size: 20–30 cm tall and wide
Seasonality: Grows spring–autumn; dormant in winter
Special Trait: Dwarf variety – ideal for small spaces and containers
Indoors: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sun which can fade or scorch the leaves.
Outdoors (summer): Thrives in partial to full shade. Ideal for patios, underplanting, or shaded balconies.
Too much sun can bleach the lime colour or burn the delicate pink markings.
Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged during the active growing season.
Water when the top 2 cm of soil feels dry.
Ensure pots have good drainage.
Reduce watering in autumn as the plant enters dormancy.
Tip: Caladiums dislike soggy roots—err on the side of slightly dry rather than overwatered.
Ideal Temperature: 18–30°C
Minimum: Keep above 12°C
Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+), especially indoors
Ways to boost humidity:
Light misting
Humidity trays
Grouping with other plants
Indoor humidifiers
Use a light, airy and well-draining mix, such as:
2 parts peat-free compost or coco coir
1 part perlite or orchid bark
Repot in spring when signs of new growth appear. Choose a shallow pot with adequate drainage holes.
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer using a balanced liquid fertiliser, diluted to half strength. Stop feeding once the plant starts to die back for dormancy.
Like all Caladiums, ‘Miss Muffet’ goes dormant in autumn.
Allow leaves to yellow and fade naturally.
Stop watering once the plant goes dormant.
Remove and store the tuber in a cool, dry, dark place (e.g. dry coco coir or paper) or leave dry in its pot.
Replant or resume watering in spring once new shoots emerge and temperatures warm.
Remove yellowing or damaged leaves to maintain appearance.
No pruning required beyond occasional tidy-up.
⚠️ Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Contains calcium oxalate crystals which can cause oral irritation, nausea, or drooling. Keep away from pets and children.
Compact and easy to place – ideal for desks, windowsills, and terrariums
Delightfully patterned foliage – pink freckles on lime green leaves
Seasonal interest – a joyful burst of colour in spring and summer
Perfect for small gardens and indoor pots
Low maintenance with high impact
Add a touch of speckled whimsy to your plant collection with Caladium ‘Miss Muffet’—a petite powerhouse of colour and charm that’s as cheerful as it is unique.
