Epipremnum pictus 'Argyraeus', also known as Silver Pothos, is a captivating houseplant known for its silvery-green, heart-shaped leaves. They're easy to care for, making them a favourite among new and experienced plant enthusiasts alike. Here is a detailed care guide:

Light: Silver Pothos prefers bright, indirect light, but can tolerate lower light levels. However, the vibrant variegation of its leaves may diminish in low light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can cause leaf burn.

Water: This plant enjoys well-drained soil. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch, and ensure the plant is never sitting in water as this can lead to root rot.

Humidity: Silver Pothos appreciates a humid environment. Consider misting the plant, placing it near a humidifier, or setting it on a tray filled with pebbles and water to increase the humidity around it.

Temperature: It thrives in temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C). Avoid placing it near drafty windows, air conditioners, or heaters, as sudden temperature changes can cause stress.

Soil: A well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture is ideal. A blend of peat moss, perlite, and potting soil usually works well.

Feeding: Feed your Silver Pothos with a balanced houseplant fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring through summer). Reduce feeding to every 2-3 months in the fall and winter.

Pruning: Prune your plant to maintain your desired shape and size. Regular pruning can also encourage more bushy growth.

Repotting: Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Always use a pot with drainage holes.

Propagation: The Epipremnum pictus 'Argyraeus' can be propagated through stem cuttings. Cut just below a node, and place the cutting in water until roots develop, then plant in soil.

Remember to keep an eye out for signs of distress and adjust your care routine as needed.
