Anthuriums are a popular houseplant, prized for their colourful, heart-shaped flowers. Here are some care tips for Anthurium with red flowers:

  1. Light: Anthuriums prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate some direct sunlight in the morning or late afternoon, but avoid intense sunlight during the middle of the day, as it can scorch the leaves and flowers.

  2. Water: Water your Anthurium when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Anthuriums prefer consistently moist but not waterlogged soil. Ensure the pot has good drainage and never let it sit in standing water.

  3. Soil: Anthuriums prefer a well-draining, slightly acidic soil. You can use a mixture of peat moss, perlite, and sand for the best drainage.

  4. Humidity: Anthuriums prefer a higher humidity environment. You can increase the humidity by placing a tray of water near the plant, misting the leaves regularly, or using a humidifier.

  5. Temperature: Anthuriums prefer warm temperatures between 60-90°F (15-32°C). Avoid exposing them to temperatures below 55°F (12°C) as they can suffer cold damage.

  6. Fertilizer: Fertilize your Anthurium once a month during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.

  7. Pruning: Prune the plant regularly to keep it looking its best and to encourage bushier growth.

  8. Pests and diseases: Anthuriums are relatively pest and disease-resistant, but can be susceptible to mealybugs and spider mites. Check your plant regularly and treat any infestations immediately.

With the right care, your Anthurium with red flowers can produce vibrant blooms for years to come.
