Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Alocasia Antoro, commonly known as Elephant's Ear or African Mask, is a stunning tropical plant that belongs to the Araceae family. It is native to Southeast Asia and is well-loved for its large, heart-shaped leaves and striking veins. The Alocasia Antoro is a popular choice for indoor gardening due to its attractive foliage and relatively easy care requirements.
Light: Alocasia Antoro prefers bright, indirect light to thrive. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight as this can scorch its leaves. You can place it near a north or east-facing window where it will receive filtered light or provide artificial light if needed.
Temperature: This plant thrives in warm and humid conditions. Ideally, keep it in a temperature range of 65-85¬?F (18-29¬?C). It is sensitive to cold drafts, so make sure to keep it away from windows or doors that might expose it to chilly air.
Watering: Alocasia Antoro prefers consistently moist soil, but it is important to avoid overwatering as it can lead to root rot. Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings, and then thoroughly water the plant until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. During the growing season, typically spring and summer, increase the frequency of watering, but still ensure the soil is well-drained.
Humidity: Alocasia Antoro thrives in high humidity levels. To create a humid environment, you can use a humidifier, place the plant on a tray filled with water and pebbles, or mist the leaves regularly. Avoid placing it near heaters or air conditioners as they can reduce humidity levels.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and regular potting soil works well. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
Fertilizer: During the growing season, feed your Alocasia Antoro with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every two weeks. Dilute the fertilizer to half the recommended strength to avoid fertilizer burn. In winter, reduce fertilization to once a month or suspend it altogether.
Pruning: Prune any yellow or damaged leaves to maintain the plant's health and aesthetics. Use clean and sharp pruning shears to avoid transmitting diseases.
Propagation: Alocasia Antoro can be propagated through division or stem cuttings. To propagate through division, carefully remove the plant from its pot and separate the rhizomes, ensuring each division has roots and leaves. Plant them in separate pots with well-draining soil. For stem cuttings, take a healthy stem with a few leaves and place it in a container with water until roots develop. Then, transplant it into a pot with soil.
Pests and Diseases: Alocasia Antoro can be susceptible to common houseplant pests like spider mites, aphids, and mealybugs. Regularly inspect the plant for any signs of pests and treat them with appropriate insecticides or soapy water. Ensure good air circulation around the plant to prevent fungal diseases.
With proper care, your Alocasia Antoro can grow into a stunning specimen plant that adds elegance and tropical vibes to your indoor space. Regularly monitor its needs, and it will reward you with its impressive foliage.
