Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Begonia Silver Moon is an elegant rex begonia with shimmering metallic foliage that almost appears silver under the light. The large leaves are predominantly bright silver with contrasting dark green to charcoal edges and fine dark veining running through the centre. In some lighting, the foliage can take on a soft icy-blue sheen, giving the plant an especially luminous appearance.
The leaves are broad, slightly spiralled and softly ruffled around the edges, with a velvety texture typical of rex begonias. The undersides are usually flushed burgundy-red, adding another layer of colour and interest.
Begonia Silver Moon forms a compact, bushy plant reaching around 20–30cm tall and wide. It is grown mainly for its dramatic foliage, though mature plants may occasionally produce small pale pink flowers.
Its cool-toned foliage makes it a perfect addition to your Blue Hue collection alongside Phlebodium ‘Blue Star’, Epipremnum ‘Exotica’ and Senecio hallianus. The silver tones also contrast beautifully with the darker plants in your Dark Collection.
Begonia Silver Moon prefers bright, indirect light.
A position near an east or north-facing window is ideal. It can also sit a little back from a brighter window provided it is protected from direct sun.
Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves and dull the silver colouring. Too little light may make the foliage appear greener and less striking.
Keep the compost lightly moist, allowing the top 2–3cm to dry slightly between waterings.
Overwatering is the most common cause of problems with rex begonias and can quickly lead to root rot.
Always water around the base of the plant rather than onto the foliage.
Begonia Silver Moon enjoys moderate to high humidity, ideally between 50–70%.
To raise humidity you can:
Avoid misting the leaves directly, as the soft foliage can develop marks or mildew if it stays wet.
This begonia grows best between 18–24°C.
Keep it away from:
Use a loose, airy compost mix that retains a little moisture whilst draining well.
A good mix is:
Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer using a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser at half strength.
Do not feed during autumn and winter when growth slows naturally.
Repot every 1–2 years in spring if necessary.
Only move to a pot one size larger if:
Begonia Silver Moon prefers to stay slightly snug.
Begonia Silver Moon is toxic if eaten and should be kept away from pets and young children. The leaves and stems can cause irritation and stomach upset if consumed.
